Learn for a Lifetime offers fun and educational camps each year. All camps have a minimum of 4 students and a maximum of 10 students. This gives us the best ratio to help the children learn and enjoy our camps. All camps are for children ages 5-12.

The 2018 Summer Camps Are HERE!
Summer camps are BACK for 2018 and better than ever! Each camp is a fun and educational way for your child to enjoy the summer break. Camps are from 9-11am Monday through Friday, with a few exceptions for field trips. See each camp description for field trip details.
Payment is due at time of registration. Sign up deadline for each camp is 5pm of the Friday before the camp starts.
Zoology Camp May 28-June 1: Zoology Camp is a great way to kick off the summer. Spend a few days learning about all kinds of animals and then head to the El Paso Zoo on Friday from 9-3 for a chance to see them in real life! Cost $100 plus tax.
Art Appreciation June 4-8: Have a budding artist in your life? Bring them over to learn about some of the great artists and then try their hand at recreating some famous works of art. On Friday, we will walk to the downtown Art Museum. Cost $60 plus tax.
Mean Machines June 11-15: Six simple machines make up most of the complicated machinery that makes our lives easier. Come learn about those 6 simple machines and then end the week by building a complex Rube Goldberg machine to perform a simple task. Cost $60 plus tax.
Manners Matter June 18-22: We are bringing back the lost art of civilized conversations, common courtesy, table etiquette, thank you notes, and phone manners. Bring your child over to brush up on their manners and to find out the reasons behind the RULES. We will end our week by practicing our new table manners at Olive Garden for a delicious lunch and delightful conversations. Cost $60 plus tax.
Mad Scientists June 25-29: If your student is curious about how things work in the not-so-fine art of mad science, sign them up for this fun-filled week of science experiments and learning about the scientific method. On Friday, we will enjoy the fruits of our labors by blowing up a Diet Soda bottle and making our own ice cream. Cost $60 plus tax.
Full Day Movie Themed Camps July 2, 3, 5, 6 (Closed for Independence Day) This week we are offering full day camps for the 4 days surrounding Independence Day. Camp times are 9am-4pm. Full Day camps include a trip to the park, quiet and read-aloud times, board games, plus a movie and themed craft/activity. Students should pack a lunch and wear sensible shoes for playing at the park. See Calendar for theme of each day. Cost is $30 per day.

Mystery Camp July 16-20: If you're adventurous, sign up for this camp and enjoy the surprise each day as the theme changes. We will be enjoying the best activities from some of our favorite camps. Cost is $60 plus tax.
Astronomy Camp July 23-27 If your little student as ever looked to the sky and wondered about all the things we can see and some of those we can't, this camp is for them. We spend M-Th learning about the planets, stars, and the sun and moon. On Friday, there will be no class during the day, but we will meet later to drive up to White Sands to enjoy a picnic and fun activities under the night sky at Full Moon Night. Cost is $100 plus tax.

Reading and Comprehension Camps
Days: M-TH (No Friday classes)
Recipe for Reading Level 1 Camp May 28-Jun 7: Is your student struggling with the skills required to be successful at reading? This camp meets for 2 hours per day, 4 days a week, for 2 weeks for a total of 16 hours of intense tutoring to help your student advance to reading independently. Recipe for Reading Level 1 is for school-aged, non-reading through 1st grade reading ABILITY LEVELS. Students who complete this class are encouraged to complete the program in Level 2. Cost $200 plus tax.
Visualizing and Verbalizing Camp June 11-28: Is your child struggling with comprehension and retention? 3 weeks of this class will help them understand and remember more of what they read by making mental images in their head. 2 hours a day, 4 days a week, for 3 weeks. Cost $200 plus tax.
Recipe For Reading Level 2 Camp July 23-Aug 2: If your child is reading, but not really progressing the way you think they should be, then Level 2 camp is the place for them. It takes emerging readers and helps them become fluent readers with 16 hours of focused tutoring. 4 days a week, 2 hours a day, 2 weeks. Send them back to school with the skills they need to succeed. Recipe for Reading Level 2 is for 2nd through 4th grade reading ABILITY LEVELS. Cost $200 plus tax.
